Privacy Policy
WreckerHub360 is built for Australian wrecking yards. This policy explains exactly what data we collect, how we keep it safe, and who can see it. No legal jargon. Just straight answers.

What data we collect
When you register your business, we collect your trading name, ABN, contact email, phone number, yard address, and operating hours. We also collect the names and email addresses of staff members you add to your account.
As you use WreckerHub360, we store your inventory records — vehicles, parts, stock numbers, pricing, yard zone locations, and shelf locations. We keep your invoice records, customer enquiry history, order details, and any compliance documents you upload such as purchase receipts, auction paperwork, or proof of ownership.
We store photos and documents you upload, including vehicle images, part photos, yard logos, and compliance paperwork. We also store customer contact details from enquiries sent to your yard.
For billing, we store your subscription plan, payment history, and billing status. We do not store your credit card details directly — these are handled securely by Stripe, our payment processor.
Public data vs private data
Public
- Vehicles and parts you choose to advertise
- Your business name, yard address, and phone
- Operating hours and yard description
- Public yard photos and hero images
You control what is public. Every listing is private by default until you choose to share it.
Private
- Compliance documents and purchase records
- Invoices and internal business records
- Internal inventory and pricing details
- Staff account details and permissions
- Uploaded IDs and business verification docs
- Customer enquiry details (not shared with other yards)
How we protect your data
SSL encryption
Every connection is encrypted. Your data is protected while it travels between your device and our servers.
Staff access control
You decide who can add vehicles, edit parts, view invoices, or access compliance records. Staff only see what they need.
Account verification
All business registrations are reviewed and approved before activation. We verify ABNs and business details.
No data selling
We never sell your inventory data, customer records, or pricing to third parties or other businesses.
Your data is stored in secure Australian cloud infrastructure. Access is logged and monitored. Platform administrators can only access your data for support, billing, or security reasons — and only when necessary. We do not browse your inventory or pricing for any reason.
Permissions and account security
As the business owner, you control every permission in your account. You can add staff members, assign them specific roles, and remove them at any time. Staff permissions determine whether a team member can add vehicles, edit parts, create invoices, manage compliance, or view reports.
You are responsible for keeping your account password secure. Do not share your login credentials with staff. Each staff member should have their own account with appropriate permissions. If you suspect unauthorised access, change your password immediately and contact us.
We enforce minimum password requirements and use secure authentication. All login attempts are monitored. If we detect unusual activity, we may temporarily lock your account and notify you.
Payment information
We do not store your credit card number, expiry date, or CVV on our servers. All payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment provider. Your card details are encrypted by Stripe and never accessible to WreckerHub360 staff.
We store your billing history, subscription plan, and payment status so you can view invoices and manage your account. This billing information is only accessible to you and platform administrators for support purposes.
Customer enquiries
When a customer sends an enquiry to your yard through WreckerHub360, their name, phone number, email, and message are delivered directly to your dashboard. We do not share that enquiry with other wrecking yards or use it for any purpose outside the platform.
The customer knows they are contacting your specific yard. You are responsible for handling their information in line with your own business practices and Australian privacy law. We recommend responding to enquiries promptly and only using customer details for the purpose they provided them.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. This includes your inventory, invoices, compliance records, and uploaded documents. If you cancel your subscription, we retain your data for 90 days in case you reactivate.
After 90 days of cancellation, your data may be permanently deleted. Some records may be retained longer if required by law — for example, tax invoices or compliance documents that must be kept for regulatory purposes.
You can request full deletion of your account and all data at any time. We will process deletion requests within 30 days unless we are legally required to keep certain records.
Contact us about privacy
If you have questions about this policy, want to access your data, or need to report a concern, reach out directly. We respond to privacy inquiries within 2 business days.
